Austin Bergstrom International Airport (AUS) - Guide to Austin (AUS) Airport

From Dallas, take north-south I-35, while if you are coming from east-west, take I-10 and join highway 290, which leads to Austin and continues on to Houston.

A number of bus services run from nearby cities to Austin. A trip from Dallas takes about 4 hours or 3 hours from Houston. Greyhound bus services depart from Kerrville Bus Company Station to a number of US cities. Train travel is available from Chicago, Los Angeles and many other stops on route. Amtrak trains also run to a number of major interstate destinations.

Austin is serviced by two airports. Austin-Bergstrom International Airport is located southeast of Austin and although it is an international airport, the majority of flights here are domestic, with destinations including Chicago, Washington and New York. The smaller Robert Mueller Municipal Airport also provides a number of domestic flights. Both airports offer regular shuttle services to and from Austin.
